Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a musical family. As a child, she was exposed to many traditional music as well as older Boleros. Also, she listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos and the dramatic and opera performances. Ana began to learn how to play the piano and sing from an early age, along alongside her mother. She was given more formal training in singing when she reached the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. Following her move into California in United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present place in the southern part of California. She currently performs classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. The love she has for the performing arts, music, as well as the arts keeps her engaged in local projects both as an artist and educator. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for the permission to sing classic Latin American song.
